Our International Guest Star will be none other than the wonderful Yasmina of Cairo!

Yasmina is a British-born dancer and instructor who has lived, performed and taught in Cairo for 20 years. Often dubbed 'The Rose of Cairo' she is a highly sought after teacher and performer who has taught and performed world-wide. Yasmina is also part of the Farha Show, Festival and Tour and has made a living as a popular performer in Cairo for many years. She is also well known for her excellent CDs - beautiful music produced to a very high standard with some of Cairo's top musicians and singers.

Artemisia of Belgium and Khalida from Germany

All 3 dancers wowed audiences at last year's Belly Dance Congress, where Khalida was First Runner Up in the prestigious Isis Award competition and Artemisia was on the judges' panel for another category.

Artemisia made her Celebrating Dance debut in 2009 when her warm and friendly teaching style, along with her wonderful performance in the Gala Show, made her an immediate hit with our delegates. Both Artemisia & Khalida are rising stars on the dance scene and as such are building an impressive international profile which includes tours of the USA as well as many engagements in Europe.

We also have a line up of very talented UK-based instructors. Some new faces as well as some popular regulars.

John Sleiman will be teaching a drumming session on Saturday afternoon. This session is open to local drummers as well as residential delegates. Tickets cost £15 for a 2-hour session and places are limited so buy your ticket early to avoid disappointment. Please bring your own tabla.

a full weekend residential pass

a full weekend local dancer pass

a Saturday only local dancer pass
