Deborah first attended a Middle Eastern Dance class almost nine years ago and has been smitten ever since. Her love of the dance led her to start teaching three years ago, and she offers classes in both cabaret and improvised tribal belly dance, as she loves them both equally. The dance regularly offers her challenges, new avenues for learning and the escape that only music, dancing (and lovely costumes) can offer. Deborah taught at last year's festival where she proved to be a hit with our delegates.
Deborah is also known as Blackwillow, designer and creator of custom tribal and fusion costumes.
Deborah is a member of ASMED.
Deborah will be teaching the following workshop:
Tribal Tricks for Cabaret Success. For those dancers who want to add an extra element to their dance, whether improvising or using choreography.
